マレーシアからの臨床修練生です。

Hi, I am Dr Tan Sun Mee from Malaysia, currently in my final year of Neonatology Fellowship. Firstly, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality I received from all the staff in this hospital. It made me feel at home despite being away from my family. I am honoured that I am able to train in NICU of Kitasato University Hospital. It is definitely a great privilege for me learn from the experts in neonatology as Japan is one of the countries that has the best neonatal care and excellent neonatal outcomes. In my year here, I would learn and broaden my knowledge and skills in managing micropreemies, hemodynamic study of the newborn and also to be involved in research pertaining to the field of neonatology. This year will also be a very precious opportunity for me to experience the rich culture, magnificent nature and the magical city life of Japan.

I would like to express my special thanks to Dr Naknanishi, my supervisor and mentor, Dr Ishikura, Head of Pediatric and all the staff that have been helping to facilitate my training here. I will bring home to Malaysia these wonderful memories, experiences, friendship and knowledge that I have gained here.
